Chomsky tomorrow and new lectures added

Don’t forget Noam Chomsky is speaking tomorrow. We have also added two new exciting lectures for Saturday October 29. Glen Greenwald of will be speaking at 4:00 as part of the Free School University and Fred Magdoff, author of “What Environmentalists Need to Know about Capitalism” will be speaking at 5:00 as part of the Zinn lectures. Noam Chomsky to speak on Saturday at 6:00

Due to weather, the Noam Chomsky talk has been rescheduled for 6:00 on Saturday at #Occupy Boston. We are looking forward to hearing Professor Chomsky speak at the Howard Zinn Lectures Series, part of the Free School University. If you are interested in the mission of the lecture series please see our earlier post. Please help us publicize the lectures series (pdf).

First Lecture Today

Victor Wallis gave our first lecture today. It went very well. There was a lot of good discussion and Victor gave a very nice summary of how we got in our present situation. We should have video of the lecture soon. We also have an updated schedule with more speakers confirmed. We are trying to figure out the best times for starting the lectures. Any feedback in the comments section would be welcome. We were thinking of moving the weekday lectures to 6pm. But we have many more teach-in this week.
